After both having extra time off, the Wakulla War Eagles and the Pensacola Tigers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pensacola took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Wakulla, who comes in off a win.
Wakulla is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Suwannee. The victory continues a trend for the War Eagles in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 28-26, 25-16.

Wakulla relied on the efforts of Sophia Stolk, who had six digs and five aces, and Leila Parsons, who had 13 digs. What's more, Stolk racked up 25 assists, the most she's had since back in August.
They weren't the only good servers: Wakulla was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Pensacola's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Bay by a score of 3-2.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Pensacola sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-13.
Despite the loss, Pensacola saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ezra Reichwage had 19 digs. Those 19 digs set a new season-high mark for Reichwage. Sydney Williams also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
Pensacola's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Wakulla, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's matchup: Wakulla has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.3 aces per game. However, it's not like Pensacola struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
