Park School is 7-1 against St. Frances Academy since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bruins will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Park School barely beat Pallotti the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bruins put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 12-3 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won nine in a row.

Park School let Dylan Katz and Jack Rogers run wild. Katz went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Rogers went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Katz a new career-high. Owen Cyr also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Park School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Frances Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Jemicy on Thursday as they made off with a 12-2 win.
Mason Hodges was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Drake Nicholson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
St. Frances Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Park School, their record now sits at 9-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Park School has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like St. Frances Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Park School took their victory against St. Frances Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
