After losing to the Del Norte Knights the last time they met, the Los Alamos Hilltoppers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Los Alamos skirted past Del Norte 51-49.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lamayah Victorino, who scored 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Upshaw, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds.
The victory got Los Alamos back to even at 1-1. As for Del Norte, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Los Alamos will square off against Rio Rancho at TBD on Friday. As for Del Norte, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Michael's at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully St. Michael's focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 53 on Friday.
