If Pawnee Heights wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bucklin, they should've done a better job of containing Emmerson Kirk. The Red Aces walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers on Tuesday for which the team can thank Kirk, who had six kills and five digs. She has been hot, having also posted 14 or more assists the last six times she's played.

Bucklin never let Pawnee Heights on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15.

Bucklin is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Pawnee Heights, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-17.
