Central Private put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Port Barre Red Devils with a sharp 16-4 victory. Fans of the Redhawks have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Bree Crawford and Avery Brown were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Crawford pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Meanwhile, Brown tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. At the plate, Crawford went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Brown went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
