They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 92-52 at home. The win was nothing new for Hickory Christian Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.
Hickory Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Levi Robinson, who scored 30 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Robinson is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Massey, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals.
Hickory Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, their defeat dropped their record down to 320-1183-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hickory Christian Academy and Davidson Day will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Davidson Day's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 12 matchups. Varsity Opponent will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Victory Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on January 27th.
