She  struck out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and eight unearned) runs off   seven  hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.

 In other batting news,  Emma Tinson was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Ava Colthorp was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
The  victory  got Breckenridge back to even at 6-6. As for St. Charles, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the  defeat, which was their eighth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Looking ahead, Breckenridge will welcome Ovid-Elsie  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Marauders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.33  runs per game on average), something the Huskies will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for St. Charles, they will venture away from home to  face off against Fulton  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
