Center Grove extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Skylyr Merriman. The Trojans came out on top against the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs by a score of 3-1 on Thursday for which the team can thank Merriman, who had 17 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10 digs per game.

Despite the loss, Franklin Community still got an impressive performance from Nila Netter, who had 16 digs.

Center Grove's victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Franklin Community, their loss dropped their record down to 21-4.

Center Grove has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Hamilton Southeastern on the 4th. As for Franklin Community, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Noblesville on the 4th.
