Riverside Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 56-34 walloping at the hands of Franklin Road Christian. Riverside Christian Academy has struggled against Franklin Road Christian recently, as their contest on Saturday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Gracie Tidwell was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds for Franklin Road Christian. Tidwell hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 15 straight games. Bryleigh Dempsey was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six assists and four steals.
Riverside Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Franklin Road Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.
Riverside Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Boyd Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklin Road Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Haven Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully South Haven Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Thursday.
