The Bothell Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. The contest between Bothell and Woodinville wasn't particularly close, with Bothell falling 75-59. While losing is never fun, Bothell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while Woodinville is ranked 55th).
Bothell lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bryson Bell, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarell Fermon, who scored 12 points.
Bothell has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Woodinville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.
Bothell will head out on the road to face off against North Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. North Creek is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Woodinville will take on Inglemoor at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Inglemoor focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday.
