Wawasee is 1-9 against Northridge since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Friday. The Wawasee Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Northridge Raiders at 7:00  p.m. Wawasee will be hoping to continue their five-game streak of scoring more  points each  game than the last.
 Last Friday, Wawasee was able to grind out a solid  win over South Bend Riley, taking the game  35-26.
  Hunter Tinkey had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. Tinkey was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash  that went for 56 yards.  Donovan Blair also helped out with an impressive 91  receiving yards.
 Meanwhile,  after only ten  points in their last  game, Northridge made sure to put some  points up on the board against Logansport  on Friday. Northridge breezed by Logansport on the road  to the tune of  39-3. The result was nothing new for Northridge, who have now won three contests by 28  points or more  so far this season.
  McClain Miller had a dynamite game for Northridge, rushing for 212 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry.  Derek Sherwood was another major influence, as he rushed for 89 yards and ran in a TD.
 Wawasee's win pushed their record  up to 2-8, while Northridge's bumped their own  up to the opposite: 8-2.
 Wawasee came up short against Northridge in their previous matchup  back in September, falling  14-7. Can Wawasee avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
