Baseball Recap: Palmer Trinity Has No Trouble Against Ransom Everglades

Palmer Trinity barely beat Ransom Everglades the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Palmer Trinity Falcons blew past the Ransom Everglades Raiders 8-1 on Tuesday. Considering the Falcons have won four matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pedro Castillo tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over 5.2 innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in earned runs (zero).

At the plate, Palmer Trinity let Nicholas Miraglia and Tommy Barcinas Jr. run wild. Miraglia went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Barcinas Jr. scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. That's the most stolen bases Barcinas Jr. has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Michael Miraglia, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Palmer Trinity kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win made it two in a row for Palmer Trinity and bumps their season record up to 7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Ransom Everglades, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Palmer Trinity has already played their next game, a 13-3 victory against Downtown Doral on the 12th. As for Ransom Everglades, they will head out on the road to face off against Riviera Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Ransom Everglades is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.
