It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the San Perlita Trojans can now relate to. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 59-34 walloping at the hands of the Panthers on Monday. San Perlita's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Nueces Canyon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Sifuentes, who scored 25 points. Schreiner Meredith was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
San Perlita's loss dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Nueces Canyon, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.
San Perlita does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nueces Canyon also has no future games currently scheduled.
