The Tri-Village Patriots put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Arcanum at home to the tune of 75-43. Fans of Tri-Village have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
When it comes to explaining why Arcanum lost, one person who can't be blamed is Landon Flatter. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Lock, who scored six points.
Tri-Village's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Arcanum, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Village won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Georgetown at 6:00 p.m. on December 23rd. Georgetown will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 553rd, while Tri-Village is ranked 241st). Arcanum won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Legacy Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 23rd.
