Basketball Recap: Berlin Brothersvalley Skates Past Perry Traditional Academy with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berlin Brothersvalley). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 73-45 stomp they got against the Perry Traditional Academy Commodores. With that victory, the Mountaineers brought their scoring average up to 51.1 points per game.

Berlin Brothersvalley found their leader in sophomore Carson Janidlo, who went 8 of 15 en route to 18 points along with eight boards and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Janidlo has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of McKelvey Foor, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 17 points.

Berlin Brothersvalley was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Berlin Brothersvalley and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Perry Traditional Academy, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berlin Brothersvalley will face off against Meyersdale at 7:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Berlin Brothersvalley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.1 points per game this season. As for Perry Traditional Academy, they will take on Taylor Allderdice at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
