Baseball Recap: Bonney Lake Comes Up Short

The Bonney Lake Panthers lost 14-2 to the South Kitsap Wolves on Friday.

Bonney Lake's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for South Kitsap, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonney Lake will host Bethel at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bethel has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.75 runs per game on average), something Bonney Lake will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for South Kitsap, they will welcome Sumner at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
