Philo hasn't had much luck against John Glenn recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Electrics will welcome the Little Muskies at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Philo made easy work of Crooksville and carried off a 73-48 victory. The win continues a trend for the Electrics in their matchups with the Ceramics: they've now won six in a row.

KJ Philip was nothing short of spectacular: he went 9-for-19 en route to 22 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Philo is 2-1 when Philip posts 15 or more points, but 3-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Harper, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 12 points and six boards.
Philo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2025.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John Glenn). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Coshocton 88-59. Given the Little Muskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Redskins are ranked 534th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
John Glenn's win came from a few key players that Philo will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was CJ Dolan, who went 7-for-10 on his way to 20 points and five assists. His big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Stehl Bates, who posted 17 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Philo's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for John Glenn, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Philo has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 22.7 boards per game. However, it's not like John Glenn struggles in that department as they've been averaging 23.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Philo came up short against John Glenn in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, falling 76-64. Will the Electrics have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
