Stagg's Daniel Ruffin rumbled for the longest rushing play in Tri-City this season in his game against Modesto last week. Ruffin ran for 99 yards on the play and finished with 109 on the day as his team lost to the Panthers.
St. Mary's moved up to 57 from 111 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Rams climbed the ranks as a result of beating Central Catholic 47-27.
St. Mary's' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kaleb Parrish threw for 204 and 4 touchdowns and Jaelin Ratliff had 107 yards receiving. On the ground Marcus Lomas contributed 157 yards. Demetrius Ferguson helped St. Mary's' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 94 yards.
