Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Houston). Everything went their way against the Sam Rayburn Texans on Tuesday as the South Houston Trojans made off with a 16-6 victory. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 9-8 loss the last time these two teams met.
Alexander Vivier made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because South Houston is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-7 otherwise.
