Fayetteville took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past the Cabot Panthers to the tune of 66-24. The Bulldogs have beaten the Panthers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Fayetteville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hank Hendrix led the charge by throwing for 472 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per attempt. Kaleb Johnson helped Hendrix out on the ground, rushing for 121 yards and three scores on only 11 carries.

Fayetteville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-17 win against Broken Arrow on the 5th. As for Cabot, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-14 loss against Bentonville West on the 5th.
