After two weeks on the road, Emmetsburg is heading back home. On Friday they take on Unity Christian at 7:00 PM. Emmetsburg are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Emmetsburg got themselves on the board against Sibley-Ocheyedan last Friday, but Sibley-Ocheyedan never followed suit. Emmetsburg steamrollered Sibley-Ocheyedan 55-0. The success represented a nice turnaround for Emmetsburg, who in their last game suffered a tough 21-42 defeat.
Meanwhile, Unity Christian received a tough blow as they fell 12-32 to West Lyon.
Emmetsburg's victory lifted them to 2-4 while Unity Christian's loss dropped them down to 2-4. We'll see if Emmetsburg's success rolls on or if Unity Christian are able to steal their positive momentum.
