Lee-Scott Academy extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Clarke Ivatt. The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Glenwood Gators 52-49 thanks in part to Ivatt, who went 10 for 21 en route to 28 points along with five boards and four steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played.
Another player making a difference was Riley Fields, who posted six points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November of 2024.
Several Gators players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Claire Graham, who earned seven points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bobbi Taylor Breazeale, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Lee-Scott Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for Glenwood, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.
