The Priceville Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Russellville Golden Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Priceville lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lawrence County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Bulldogs blew past the Red Devils 53-13 on Friday. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bulldogs had established a 22-point advantage.

Sheldon Graham had an outrageously good game as he threw for 220 yards and five TDs on perfect 16-for-16 passing, and also rushed for 81 yards on only five carries. Those 220 passing yards gave him a new career-high. 80 of Graham's passing yards were hauled in by Urijah Burnham.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Priceville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. They are a perfect 5-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
Priceville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Sincere Baker.
Meanwhile, Russellville blew past West Point, posting a 42-14 victory. The Golden Tigers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Russellville found their leader in sophomore Whit Goodwin, who threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt, and also punched in one score on the ground. Goodwin's passing game has become a key predictor of the Golden Tigers' success: the team is 4-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Tarus Davis was another key player, gaining 96 total yards and two touchdowns.
Priceville's record now sits at 6-2. As for Russellville, their record is now 5-3.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Priceville has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 257.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Russellville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 149.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Priceville ended up a good deal behind Russellville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, losing 28-12. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
