After flying high against Central Catholic last Thursday, Otsego came back down to earth. The Otsego Knights took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets on Monday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
Kaylee Eberly wasn't going to let Cory-Rawson walk away unscathed as she scored both of Otsego's goals, bringing her season total up to 13 goals.
Otsego now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Cory-Rawson, the victory also got them back to even at 3-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Otsego will welcome Liberty Center at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cory-Rawson, they will host Kalida at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
