Hancock Central posted their closest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Twiggs County and snuck past 43-41. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Hancock Central has scored all season.
Hancock Central's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Josiah Ingram, who scored 11 points, and Jace Glover, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Georgia Military College pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a rough 76-56 defeat at the hands of Wilkinson County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Georgia Military College has suffered since December 15, 2023.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Cam Duke, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Lango, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Hancock Central's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. As for Georgia Military College, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.
