Adding to the longest winning streak in Mountain this week, Clearfield beat Bald Eagle Area 31-6. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Central took down Bellefonte 63-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Austin Cunningham threw for 100 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 79 yards in the win.
James Oliver was a beast in the backfield as Tyrone beat Central Mountain.
Oliver provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Golden Eagles defeated the Wildcats. Oliver's favorite target this week was Nicholas Getz, who caught 2 passes for 56 yards.
Getz was the best receiver in the league this week as Tyrone topped Central Mountain. Getz racked up 2 receptions for 56 yards. Aleic Hunter helped Tyrone's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 27 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Cameron Tobias of Penns Valley Area is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,362. He has also thrown 10 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Getz. The Tyrone star has 22 catches for 478 yards.
Tyler Stratton of the Clearfield is only 87 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Stratton has rushed for 913 yards on 109 carries so far this year.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Rams and Steve Guthoff's team face off next week.
The Golden Eagles are in second place, while Penns Valley Area is in fourth place.
The league will see a high scoring game when the Dragons and Huntingdon face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Central comes in having scored 318 this season, while the Bearcats have scored 268. Dave Baker's team scored 63 points last week as it beat the Raiders.
