Cotter came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Salem Greyhounds. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Greyhounds back in March, they had to take a 8-7 loss.

Cotter's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Salem, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cotter will challenge Lead Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Salem, they will square off against Valley Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
