The Windsor Owls will venture away from home to challenge the Central Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Windsor is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 18-7 margin over Affton on Monday. The Owls not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since May 21, 2025 (when they won 17-2).
Casen Siegel made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025.

Windsor was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Affton only posted a batting average of .200.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Kelly 3-2. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Central's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jathan Spain, who went 1-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base. Ayden McGuire was another, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Windsor's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Central, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 6-2.
Windsor suffered a grim 13-1 defeat to Central in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Owls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
