It was a good run, but Urban unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Blues came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Peregrine Falcons are ranked 311th).

Urban's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Archie Williams, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Urban won't have much time to rest: their next match is against San Marin at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Archie Williams, they will challenge Urban at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
