4A District 4 recap October 22, 2013
Keystone Heights scaled the state rankings by moving to 344 from 370 this week, the biggest jump in 4A District 4. The Indians climbed the ranks as a result of topping The Villages Charter 40-13.
The Buffalo fell to Keystone Heights 40-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Anton Noble was a passing and rushing force as Charles Dickinson's team beat The Villages Charter.
Ethan Madden was the best wideout in the league this week as Umatilla topped Interlachen. Madden tallied 3 receptions for 52 yards. Dakoda Hammock helped Umatilla's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 12 yards.
The Bulldogs' Justin Lewis and Madden led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Lewis has thrown for 555 yards this season, while Madden has 21 catches for 242 yards. The Indians' Noble leads the league in rushing yards with 832.
A big matchup in 4A District 4 this week will be when Umatilla takes on Bradford. As it stands, Rodney Torrance's team is in fourth, while the Tornadoes are in third.
Keystone Heights led the league in scoring this week by notching 40 points on Richard Pettus' team. Noble ran for 177 yards during the win.
