They were just one part of a punishing run game: Wahoo was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 367 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 44 points the game before, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 35-10 to Fort Calhoun. While losing is never fun, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Fort Calhoun is ranked 16th).
Even if they lost, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Logan Meyer refused to say out of the backfield, picking up a sack all by himself.
Wahoo's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Wahoo has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 340 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Logan View/Scribner-Snyder struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 226.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
