Kiyoko Proctor continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with five assists and five steals. The matchup was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Alyssa Lewis was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Meanwhile, Belleville East was the victim of a rough 58-37 loss at the hands of Althoff Catholic on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Belleville East in their matchups with Althoff Catholic: they've now lost three in a row.
Alton's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Belleville East, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
