Webster Schroeder is a perfect 6-0 against Brighton since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Webster Schroeder came out on top against Spencerport on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Rangers. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Kyara Murphy was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emma Juliano, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Annika Swanson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Webster Schroeder kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are 7-2 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Brighton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past Victor 13-1 on Monday. That 12-run margin sets a new team best for the Bruins this season.
Webster Schroeder's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Brighton, their win bumped their record up to 4-12.
Everything went Webster Schroeder's way against Brighton in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Webster Schroeder made off with a 12-1 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bruins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
