McDonald County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 8-2 to the Grove Ridgerunners. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

McDonald County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Grove, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McDonald County will take on Warrensburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Grove, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Oologah at 5:00 p.m.
