Ledyard had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Norwich RVT on Wednesday. The Colonels blew past the Warriors 22-7. The win continues a trend for the Colonels in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Ledyard got a massive performance out of Mia Starling, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Julia Bonser, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI.

Ledyard now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Norwich RVT, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ledyard will venture away from home to square off against Woodstock Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Norwich RVT, they will head out to challenge Parish Hill at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
