Hillsborough is 9-1 against Tampa Bay Tech since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hillsborough Terriers will be home for the holidays to greet the Tampa Bay Tech Titans at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Tuesday, Hillsborough was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-43 to Wharton. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hillsborough in their matchups with Wharton: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, Tampa Bay Tech unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of King by a score of 67-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (59), Tampa Bay Tech still had to take the loss.
Hillsborough now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Tampa Bay Tech, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
Hillsborough didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Tampa Bay Tech in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 66-60 victory. Will Hillsborough repeat their success, or does Tampa Bay Tech have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
