Hoke scored a full 31.7% of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Noah McKinney was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Among those leading the charge was Luke Shaw, who scored 29 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Valley Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Wallace, who scored 14 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Valley Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Ironwood Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Carter Brown and Hoke. As for Valley Christian, they will be playing at home against Benjamin Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Benjamin Franklin is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
