After two weeks on the road, Creston/Orient-Macksburg is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Glenwood . Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
There's no need to mince words: Creston/Orient-Macksburg lost to Harlan last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-48. Creston/Orient-Macksburg were down by 0-48 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, we expected Glenwood to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Lewis Central, and they did. Glenwood ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-42 walloping at Lewis Central's hands. Glenwood were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
Creston/Orient-Macksburg took a serious blow against Glenwood the last time the two teams met, falling 13-49. Can Creston/Orient-Macksburg avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
