The Miami Christian Victors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They suffered a tough 70-47 loss at the hands of Belen Jesuit. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Miami Christian has scored all season.
Belen Jesuit's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alec Arnholt, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Carlos Santana was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Miami Christian dropped their record down to 11-11 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Belen Jesuit, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.
Miami Christian and the Eagles will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Belen Jesuit, they will face off against the Thoroughbreds at TBD on Tuesday. Hialeah will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Wolverines are ranked 163rd).
