The Andrews Yellowjackets will face off against the Timberland Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Andrews has three straight victories, Timberland has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Andrews sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Woodland.

Jaxon Baker made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Riley Jordan, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Brycen Cannon, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
Meanwhile, Timberland might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Academic Magnet who claimed the real prize. The Wolves lost 12-1 to the Raptors.
Timberland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Scott, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.
Andrews now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Timberland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
Everything went Andrews' way against Timberland in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, as Andrews made off with an 18-0 victory. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
