Sacred Heart put another one in the bag  on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by  a  21-6 margin over the Newton Tigers. While the Crusaders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Kensie Baugh was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run but no hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run every time she's  pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, Sacred Heart let  Cambrie Baugh and  Julia Adams loose on the outfield. Baugh  scored a  run while going 1-for-2, while  Adams  scored two  runs and  stole four bases. Baugh also put up a  double, which washer first of the season.  Mia Cargill was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing four bases while going 1-for-2.
Sacred Heart's record is now 4-0.
 Looking ahead, Sacred Heart will challenge Quitman at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Sacred Heart's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5  runs per game  this season, so Quitman's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Newton, they will face off against Leake County at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
