Even if they lost, Trinidad's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Andrew East was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one sack the last ten times he's played. Connor Knezel was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Monte Vista pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.7 points over those games. As for Trinidad, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
