That's the most points Cooper has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jay Ross, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven boards and six assists.
Natchez's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Brookhaven, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.
Natchez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brookhaven, they will venture away from home to challenge South Jones at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. South Jones knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Brookhaven likes a good challenge.
