If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Archbishop Hannan. They will challenge The Church Academy on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Archbishop Hannan are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while The Church Academy are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
Archbishop Hannan simply couldn't be stopped last week, as they easily beat Pope John Paul II 59-0. With Archbishop Hannan ahead 52-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for The Church Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 7-26 loss to Cohen.
Archbishop Hannan's victory lifted them to 3-0 while The Church Academy's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Archbishop Hannan can add another positive mark to their record or if The Church Academy can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Archbishop Hannan's step.
