Marionville has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Diamond Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Last Monday, Marionville didn't have too much trouble with the Eagles on the road as they won 62-43.
Marionville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dally Pomeroy led the charge by scoring 15 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Pomeroy hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Newberry, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Diamond entered their tilt with the Indians with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Diamond blew past the Indians, posting a 77-16 win on the road. Diamond has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 25 points or more this season.
Marionville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Diamond, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.
