The Gregory Gorillas won the last time they faced the Parkston Trojans, and things went their way on Friday too. Gregory came out on top against Parkston by a score of 60-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Gregory.
Gregory got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Bearshield out in front who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Mitchell, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Gregory is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Parkston, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
Gregory will be playing in front of their home fans against Wagner at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Gregory is coming into the contest with four straight wins at home, so Wagner is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Parkston, they will head out on the road to challenge Sanborn Central/Woonsocket at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
