Baseball Recap: River Valley Has No Trouble Against Mohave Accelerated

River Valley won the last time they faced Mohave Accelerated and things went their way on Tuesday too. The River Valley Dust Devils blew past the Mohave Accelerated Patriots 18-3. The Dust Devils' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Thomas Ramby looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, Mickey Gonzalez was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mickey Smith, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

River Valley has already played their next game, a 10-7 victory against Pahrump Valley on the 6th. As for Mohave Accelerated, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-6 defeat against Chinle on the 6th.
