The Franklin Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Poly Engineers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Poly took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Franklin, who comes in off a win.
Franklin fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They managed a 16-12 win over Woodlawn on Friday.
Franklin relied on the efforts of Elijah Mathis, who picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Devin Rollins, who rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 32 points the game before, Poly were a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They were outmatched by City College on the road and fell 44-6. Poly was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-0.
Franklin's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Poly, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
