East Jackson came into Tuesday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Stephens County Indians with a sharp 77-56 win on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted since December 13, 2024.

East Jackson's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 7-13. As for Stephens County, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Jackson will challenge Prince Avenue Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stephens County, they will head out to square off against Hebron Christian at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Hebron Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Stephens County likes a good challenge.
