Centerburg won the last time they faced Mt. Gilead and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Centerburg Trojans really took it to the Mt. Gilead Indians for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-18 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Centerburg, bringing their record for this year to 14-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.5 points. As for Mt. Gilead, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centerburg will square off against East Knox at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Centerburg's defense has only allowed 25.1 points per game this season, so East Knox's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mt. Gilead, they will face off against Loudonville at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing isn't great for Mt. Gilead: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Loudonville has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
